A Nice Day

mMMmMM...it's been a nice day. Had Thai food - beef flat rice noodles, but all nice and spicy like those Thai people like it. (Actually, it wasn't hot enough - but that's my fault.) I also had some very nice sugar cookies :-) and pie! :o)

Anyhoo...I had a great birthday-day thanks to some awesome friends. I love all of you.

Oyeah...also got a WAYY cool cow as a present -- maybe I can take a picture of it and post it sometime...hehehe...it's wayy cute.

Well I suppose it's bedtime for me - Only because I'm working at the Museum tomorrow from 9:00AM - 1:00PM. It's ok...I anticipate it'll be a nice escape.

Oyeah...I also finished my Alzheimer's book and started on a new book called Stiff - some pretty crazy stuff in there - it's pretty interesting, probably you could pack a little more content into 280 pages...haha...whatever though - it's a good read, very thought provoking in a strange sort of way.

A Bright Morning

It looks nice out today -- to bad it looks like I'll be inside all day...as usual...haha. Maybe they need to invent like a big glass room that they can put outside so people like me can sit inside & study in them...haha

I dunno - well, back to my book for awhile, then it's on to the library to do orgo lab stuff and just general orgo review before lunch.

Orgo Lab Unknown

So thanks to Carli, I actually figured out what my unknown was for Orgo Lab. But the really annoying thing, now that I know what it was, is that I look back on all those positives and say 'damn that compound for hydrolyzing all the time.'

Haha...other than that, it's been a very enjoyable night :-) Got some good reviewing done & studying done. Learning how to draw DNA base pairs today was pretty exciting - I thought so anyway...haha. Also, my last few bio papers turned out nicely, so that was pretty exciting too.

Oh, that, and some lady called me for a wedding today and she was like...wayyy too excited about hiring a quartet. It was pretty crazy...haha.

Orgo Lab

Omygoshh...I hate lab soo much - it scares the crap out of me...ahHHhH! Well good thing I have until 7:00 in the PM to think about it. :-)

So I get up this morning, and again it's FREEZING...ahHHH...I can't deal with the intensity of the coldness...haha. Thank goodness for central air next year in the apartments.

Okies, heading over to Sid for some (more) food.

Btw, thanks to Nancy for keeping Carli & I sane by asking us to play Othello. Apparently she's been watching over us and asking us to play "when it LOOKS like yall need a BREAK."...I think I could always use a break -- or maybe just a big whack over the head...hmM. I guess it just depends on who you ask...yiKes...haha

Rough Day So Far

Man was it a rough night...haha...so halfway through the night, the a/c decided that it wanted to go to heat instead, which is usually all fine and dandy, except that since we like to have some air circulation at night, this meant that we were first FREEZING, and then SIZZLING -- all in the same night!

so then after I got up, I think I must've dropped at least 4 or 5 things on the ground so far --> yes, Nathan, you hafta use your thumb when you pick things up...uGh...haha

okies, so I think I'm gonna do some psyc work today while waiting for Carli to get up (and make those Ch.26 flashcards)...haha

Got some good work done yesterday afternoon/night -> went to Phó Saigon & then worked at Tropioca for a few hrs on chemlab. Also finished the psyc essay yesterday...it's pretty :-)
